Klaus Kirketerp-Møller is an orthopaedic surgeon and Head of Copenhagen Wound Healing Center, Denmark. He is consultant at Steno Diabetes Center Copenhagen. He has been working with wound healing and the diabetic foot for more than 20 years.
He has been member of the board of several societies embracing infections in the Musculoskeletal system and the diabetic foot. He has been Chair of the Diabetic Foot Study Group under EASD, President of European Bone and Joint Infections Society and Secretary of Association of Diabetic Foot Surgeons. He has participated in writing national and international guidelines and is a member of the council of the Danish Diabetes Association.
The area of research includes aspects of the diabetic foot, infection and microbiological biofilm.
